The wearing of school clothing is a visible sign of belonging to the school, and research has shown that wearing specific school clothing improves attitude, encourages a positive mindset to learning and promotes equality. In addition, the wearing of school clothing prepares young people for the world of work where a dress code is very often required.

Red, Black, White shirt/blouse;
Academy tie;
Red, white or black plain trousers, shorts, skirt, pinafore, dress.
Can be combined with Academy line – V-Neck, Quarter zip, Blazer, Zip Hoody.
For security reasons no hats are to be worn in the school building.
Morning Connect Tutors will recognise School Clothing Code compliance and use a tracker for occasions where the clothing code is not being followed.
If a student is not in Clothing Code on the day of a School Trip, they will remain in school.
Celebration Evenings are formal events and so the ‘Shirt and Tie look’ is required.
All students are gifted a school tie at the start of S1.
We celebrate diversity and individuality, and so welcome students to explore their own way of styling the school clothing within the above code.
